Picture this. You’re in public, and all of a sudden, you catch a whiff of something clean and exotic. You can’t help it; you take a second look to find out who that person is. Ever experienced this?

It is undeniably true that a woman’s dressing is incomplete without the perfect signature scent. Yes, sis, you heard that right; it is essential to wear a lovely fragrance because it is essential to smell clean and unique every time.

One true thing is it’s not always about what you say or how you dress –how you look is extremely important- sometimes what you smell like makes all the difference.

Don’t forget that you have to be intentional when picking your perfumes. I personally feel that your scent is an extension of your personality. People choose fragrances for different reasons. Lancome La vie est Belle

This particular perfume exudes sweetness, confidence and subtlety. Top notes are Black Currant and Pear; middle notes are iris, Jasmine and Orange Blossom, while base notes are Praline, Vanilla, Patchouli and Tonka Bean. 

This scent makes me feel happy, bubbly and confident.

L’occitane Oud and Rose

This perfume is a combination of two different scents. It has a floral, feminine, and flirty scent mixed with a masculine scent. The top notes are citrusy bergamot and delicate peony petals, which mingle together seamlessly with cedar and grass rose for a sweet, feminine scent. The base notes are earthy, woodsy blend of patchouli, oud and vanilla. This fragrance makes you smell  RICH.

Baccarat Rouge 540 

Anyone can wear this scent. It has a clean smell that is purely delivered without seeming cloying. The notes are jasmine, saffron, cedar, and ambergris.

Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium

This scent is glamorous and full of energy; Black Opium has notes of black coffee, white florals and vanilla. I think this scent is appropriate in the cold weather or during this night time. It also has arousing properties.

Salvatore Ferragamo Signorina (pink)

This is a fresh and elegant perfume; the notes are currant with pink pepper, jasmine with peony and rose, followed by pannacotta, musk and patchouli. This scent is fresh, sweet, floral and fruity. I wear this every day, and I honestly have no regrets. It’s the perfect daytime scent!

Marc Jacobs Decadence

Decadence seduces with sultry top notes of succulent Italian plum wrapped in golden saffron and velvety iris flower, then blooms into an extravagant bouquet of Bulgarian rose. It is laced with hints of an aphrodisiac. This perfume gives me that rich aunty vibes, you know what I mean, sis. 😉

Carolina Herra Good Girl 

The sweet, alluring qualities of jasmine give Carolina Herrera’s Good Girl Eau de Parfum its brightness and femininity. The darker side of Good Girl is created with richly fragrant cocoa and intoxicating Tonka. It is a sweet and rich daytime scent.

The beautiful thing about these fragrances is they help you feel as powerful as you are. You know you smell amazing, so you can carry yourself with that regality. Every woman should have at least one of these fragrances in her personal collection.
