MY SKIN CARE ROUTINE UNDER 5000 naira || BROKENDOWN

 Hey Loves,

TBVH believe me when I say I honestly didn’t know how serious you guys were about me sharing this.
I got emails, comments, and feedback that honestly made me so emotional I wish you guys could feel how I felt that week: hopeful, grateful, content, loved….. it was a beautiful experience.

Although I got a lot of messages and emails, stating that I didn’t break down my routines, I decided to do that in a blog post which I hope answers all questions and feel free to email me anymore.

Disclaimer: This routine works for me, I am not certain it might do the same for you, but natural products are great for the skin and I believe these products could make a difference when introduced to your routine.

1. PALM KERNEL OIL( EXTRACT):
This is gotten from frying the seeds of the palm fruit until the oil comes out. You need to fry a lot to get a large quantity ( you could always take the easy way out and just buy from a supplier *wink*).
This smells a bit dense, so I usually use this at night, after a shower. Applying it on my face and all over my body. It makes my skin feel really moisturized and supple.

2. R&R LUXURY LEMON GRASS BODY OIL:
This smells so heavenly and calming. It blends well with any other fragrance you might decide to use. It makes my skin glow so much. I feel so happy. I use this as a daily moisturizer for my skin and I always get compliments on how good I smell. ( if you’re a member of the Bey Hive, sprinkle some lemon body oil on that skin of yours)
3.APPLE CIDER VINEGAR:
ACV, as it’s fondly called, serves a lot of purposes…from getting rid of products in your hair, to toning your skin, some people even say they use it to wash fruits before they eat them ( I honestly have never tried this last one before). I just apply this on my face with a cotton ball after I shower or wash my face. I honestly don’t do this all the time as sometimes routines get so tiring *sulking*.
Ensure you mix this with water to dilute the acidity so you do not burn your skin.
4. ROSE WATER:
I honestly hopped on this because I saw BeautyInLagos and Vivian Okezie use it in their skincare routines. BIL used it as a refresher while Vivian used it as a toner. I tend to use it as both. It makes my skin glow more than when I use ACV, I would advise that people with dry skin use this. It could help. ( Besides who wouldn’t love a beauty steal at 950 naira, these things don’t come cheap *crying*)
5.CITRA PEARLY WHITE UV:
Best believe I’m still yet to figure out the instructions or content because they’re mostly in Indonesian, but this cream has been good to me since high school. Although it’s pretty sad we only reconnect when Dad travels. On days when I feel the sun is too intense or the weather too hot, I let go of the glow and run for this tbh!! Nigerian heat is not a joke.

It’s a wrap guys. I answered most of the questions you guys kept asking about this routine. Have you tried any of these products? Did they work? What works for you?
Please let me know below. I feel like we haven’t been talking a lot.
Love and Spice,
Valerie
